Premier League giants Manchester United are all set to hold crunch talks with their 23-year-old winger Jadon Sancho.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the future of Jadon Sancho at Manchester United looks uncertain. There is a lot of tension between Erik ten Hag and the England international. The Red Devils are now all set to hold talks with the 23-year-old this week to discuss the ongoing situation.

Sancho arrived at Manchester United back in the summer of 2021 after an impressive stint at Borussia Dortmund. The Red Devils spent big money to land the England international at the club. The 23-year-old was destined for greatness, and he was expected to take the Premier League by storm.

But, things have not gone according to plan. Since joining the Red Devils he has featured in a total of 82 matches, but he has only managed to contribute towards 18 goals. Sancho has not had the kind of impact everyone expected him to have. Things have gone from bad to worse since the arrival of Erik ten Hag at the club.

Under the leadership of the Dutch manager, the England international, who is on £350,000-a-week wages, featured in a total of 41 matches last season and he was on the pitch for over 2,400 minutes. But, all he could manage was just ten goal contributions.

In the ongoing season, he has featured in three Premier League matches but has been on the pitch for just 76 minutes. The 23-year-old has found it difficult to make it into their playing XI. His exclusion from the squad that travelled to the Emirates for the fixture against Arsenal has made things worse.

After the game against Arsenal, ten Hag was asked why Sancho was not a part of the squad. The former Ajax boss said that the 23-year-old was dropped because of his performances and conduct in the training sessions.

But, a few hours later, Sancho took to his social media handles and wrote that everything that one hears is not true. The 23-year-old took a dig at ten Hag and made it clear that the decision was not based on training performances. And, he even highlighted the fact that he has been made the scapegoat.

With the situation going from bad to worse, Manchester United have not decided to hold talks with the 23-year-old. The board is all set to decisive talks with the £350,000-a-week player. And, it will be interesting to see what is the outcome of that meeting.
