Negotiations with Bayern Munich continued, and Liverpool ensured they reached a swift agreement. The Reds also evaded the idea of waiting until the Germans found a potential replacement, which ultimately turned out pretty badly for the Bavarians.
Liverpool will pay €40 million in fixed fees plus €5 million in add-ons. Gravenberch has signed a five-year deal without an option to extend it further. Bayern faced many disappointments on the last day of the transfer window. The early closure of the German window caused further complications.
