Tanguy Ndombele has been linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, with Serie A giants Inter Milan keen.
Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan are hoping to sign Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur this summer. And the Nerazzurri are looking to complete a loan transfer for him, according to Fabrizio Romano.
An approach has been made by the Italian outfit regarding a loan move, and it remains to be seen whether Spurs are prepared to sanction his departure. The French midfielder has not been able to live up to the expectations since his €62 million move to Tottenham. So it makes sense for the North London club to cash in on him permanently.
They will want to get rid of the midfielder on a permanent transfer. But it has been difficult to find suitors for him. Ndombele remains a talented midfielder, but he has not been able to hold down a regular starting spot at Tottenham for quite some time.
The 26-year-old was on loan at Napoli last season, but he was a squad player for the Partenopei as well. It will be interesting to see if he can belatedly make his mark in Serie A, this time at Inter Milan, if the transfer goes through.

He was expected to develop into a world-class midfielder when he joined Tottenham. But his development has not gone according to plan. The €62 million flop has had his fair share of injury problems, and he failed to impress the previous Tottenham managers as well.
Ideally, Tottenham would look to recoup as much as possible for him and get rid of him permanently. But they are now under pressure to let him leave on loan just to get his wages off their books.
He is clearly unwanted at Tottenham and is unlikely to get opportunities under Ange Postecoglou this season. The Frenchman needs regular game time to fulfil his potential. And it will be interesting to see if Inter Milan are willing to provide him with that opportunity.
The Serie A giants have approached Tottenham over a possible loan move for Ndombele. They can definitely use more quality in the middle of the park, and he can be a useful player for them if he settles in quickly and regain his form and sharpness.
