Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has been linked to the move away from the club this summer.

According to a report from Football London, the newly appointed Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is now prepared to sanction the departure of the 26-year-old midfielder because of his attitude issues.

The 26-year-old spent the last season on loan at Napoli and he was a part of their title-winning squad. Many would have expected him to get a chance under the new manager this season but the Frenchman has failed to impress the new manager during pre-season.

The Australian is now ready to sanction the departure of the £55 million midfielder before the window closes.

Ndombele was regarded as a world-class talent when he joined Tottenham and he was expected to develop into a top-class player. However, things have not gone according to plan and he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter for Tottenham under multiple managers.

Perhaps a permanent move away from the north London club would be ideal for all parties.

Tottenham clearly do not value him as a key player anymore and the 26-year-old will be desperate to get his career back on track. A permanent exit would be ideal for all parties and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can find the club willing to pay a substantial amount of money for him.

The Frenchman needs to play regularly at the state of his career and he is unlikely to get those opportunities at Tottenham. The 26-year-old cannot afford to sit on the bench at the London club for a whole season.

It is fair to assume that Tottenham will not be able to recoup the £55 million they paid for him and they will have to cut their losses on the player. Napoli recently submitted a €20 million offer for the player.

Ndombele is still a top talent who could be a key player for most clubs if he can sort out his attitude issues. It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds in the remaining days of the transfer window.
