Liverpool are eyeing up a move for Italian prodigy Samuel Inacio from Atalanta as the club looks at some exciting young prospects.

Tutto Mercato Web linked Liverpool with a move for 15-year-old Atalanta youngster Samuel Inacio. The attacking midfielder emerges on the Merseysiders’ radar following impressive displays at his age level, although he is now a permanent member of the U-16 team.

Samuel Inacio is a name probably very few people know of, but he could make headlines with a move to Liverpool. The Merseysiders seem interested in the Italian prodigy after the 15-year-old continued to impress with Atalanta’s youth sides.

The Serie A side fears for their youth prospects, with other clubs also eyeing some of their most promising talents. Inacio is reportedly considered one of the best talents to come out of the country and is the son of former Brazilian winger Pia.

Being impressed with his age group, Inacio got promoted to the U-16 team and is now a permanent member. Liverpool fans will not have hoped to see links to a 15-year-old at a time when their club needs senior signings to bolster a depleted-looking squad.

While Jurgen Klopp continues to search for viable targets, the club is also keen to bolster its youth ranks. The prospective signing of the 15-year-old would see them bring one of the talented stars from Italy and then develop him into a first-team star.

The Reds could open talks with Atalanta to figure out a way to find an agreement for Inacio, as they would like to sign him before the transfer deadline. Whether the player wants the move remains unclear, but his father, who also seems like his agent, could discuss the possibility of a transfer.

Liverpool are also focused on bringing senior professionals, having signed Wataru Endo recently. They are still looking for a new midfielder, with the likes of Ryan Gravenberch and Man City’s Kalvin Phillips linked.

Klopp may also target a new defender if there’s still time and money before the deadline. Overall, the Reds need two or three more signings before the window shuts. Their squad looks incomplete, while early results have not looked comfortable.
