Al-Nassr are reportedly interested in a shock approach for Liverpool star Alisson Becker, with the Brazilian keeper open to the move.

Foot Mercato reckons Al-Nassr are plotting a surprise move to sign Alisson Becker from Liverpool. The decision to pursue a new keeper became apparent after their loss to Al-Ettifaq. The Brazilian stopper seems tempted by the idea of moving to Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool have lost three players to the Saudi Pro League this summer and could come under pressure as two more players are now targetted. Roberto Firmino moved on a free transfer to open the gates for others to follow, with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho moving on to join the Brazilian.

Liverpool agreed a deal with Al-Ettifaq to sell their captain Henderson while Fabinho also moved to Al-Ittihad for a sizeable fee. Have the Merseysiders opened the wrong door by allowing their two experienced midfielders to leave for the Saudi Pro League?

Recently Al-Ittihad returned with an interest in Mohamed Salah, and now Al-Nassr are vying for Alisson Becker. It’s turning out to be a disastrous window for Liverpool, particularly if the club decides to sell two of their high-performing stars.

The report insists Al-Nassr seemed disappointed by their keeper Nawaf Al-Aqidi’s performance against Al-Ettifaq. They now seek a new keeper and the £66.8 million Liverpool star. They might approach to find the conditions of a potential deal, which could damage the club.

The report also mentions how Alisson is rather tempted by the idea of signing for the Saudi side, which could spell problems for Liverpool. The Reds might place a significant price to ward off Al-Nassr, but money may not ultimately become an issue.

Moreover, if the Saudi side presents Alisson with a lucrative offer, it’s difficult to see the player turning it down. The Brazilian only signed a new deal in 2021 and has another four years to run on his contract. Al-Nassr could offer Liverpool a tremendous amount of money if it comes to that and take the Brazilian stopper away.

Liverpool must make a solid decision about this transfer movement between now and the end of the window. They were recently linked with Mike Maignan earlier this month, which tells the story in a different line. Were the Reds aware of the Saudi interest before, or did Al-Nassr plan on a surprise move after Al-Nassr’s defeat to Al-Ettifaq?

The money could tempt players, especially Salah and Alisson, who have already entered their 30s. Neymar’s recent contract should place some value on Salah to evaluate an offer. Meanwhile, Alisson will undoubtedly demand a massive salary to join them.

It wont be a surprise again hearing that Liverpool has agreed to sell Allison to the SAUDI team coz FSG and his agent Kloop are there for moneys ….they are good at selling humans for monies than buying for rebuilding a team…they dont hesitate selling but very hesitant when it comes to buy players …so it wont be a surprise all

I find it strange that Liverpool are being battered by the saudies,, and what springs to mind is gerrard. No wonder they wanted him for a manager because he knows Liverpool inside out. Something has to stop. If Liverpool lose Salah and Allison. It’s terrible. I have been to Bahrain six times, once for two month. It is about half an hour from Saudi and the Arabs are horrors. The Bahrain people hate the saudies and are extremely frightened of them. They will definitely regret going there. It will be okay at first but they will see them in their true colours and then things will change. I could tell u lots of things but this is about football.
