Everton are reportedly interested in signing 21-year-old Southampton winger Kamaldeen Sulemana this summer.

According to Sports World Ghana, Everton are now in talks with Southampton to loan Kamaldeen Sulemana for the upcoming campaign. The Toffees want to include an option to buy the 21-year-old for £25 million at the end of his loan spell as well.

Sulemana is highly rated at Southampton, and it remains to be seen whether the Championship outfit are prepared to sanction his departure. Everton need to add more quality and depth to their attack and Sulemana should prove to be a useful acquisition. So the interest in the youngster is understandable.

The Toffees have had two disappointing seasons, and they have been involved in the relegation battle. They will look to do better in the upcoming season and compete for a place in the top half, which might be a tall order.

Sean Dyche will have to add more cutting edge to his attack, and Sulemana will certainly add freshness and unpredictability to the Everton attack. The opportunity to play for a Premier League club next season will be hard to turn down for the talented young winger, and he is likely to be tempted to make the move.

Southampton will not want to let their players leave their summer. But they are in a difficult position after their relegation to the EFL Championship. Most of their key players will want to compete at the highest level, and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Everton are going through financial difficulties right now, and signing the 21-year-old winger on loan with an option to buy would be ideal for them. It would help them save millions in the transfer market and allow them to invest that money into the other areas of their squad as well.

Everton have a vulnerable squad, and they will need to bring in multiple reinforcements across the pitch. As for the 21-year-old Southampton winger, he will look to make his mark in the Premier League next season, and Everton could provide him with the platform to do so.

The Toffees have lacked cutting edge in the final third after the departures of Richarlison and Anthony Gordon. They should look to bring in a couple of quality attackers before the summer transfer window closes.

Sulemana will add pace and flair to the side. They should look to invest in a reliable goal scorer as well. Dominic Calvert-Lewin has had his fair share of injury problems at Goodison Park and he clearly needs more support in the attack.
