Thomas Partey has been linked with a move away from Arsenal this summer, with Serie A giants Juventus keen on signing him.

A report from Fichajes claims that Juventus are keen on signing Thomas Partey. And the Serie A giants could be willing to pay €18-20 million for the services of the Arsenal midfielder.

If the Italian giants managed to sign him for the reported price, the move could look like a major bargain. Partey was a key player for Arsenal last season, and his departure will certainly weaken the squad.

Arsenal have already signed Declan Rice for a club-record fee from West Ham United. But they should look to bring in another top-class midfielder if Partey ends up leaving. The €50 million Arsenal star is at the peak of his powers, and he could be a key player for Arsenal in the coming seasons as well.

It will be interesting to see if Arsenal are willing to sanction his departure for a knockdown price this summer. Meanwhile, Juventus are in need of midfield reinforcements and the Premier League midfielder seems like a superb option.

Juventus will not be competing in the UEFA Champions League next season, and it remains to be seen whether the former Atletico Madrid star is willing to join a club without Champions League football.

Arsenal had an impressive 2022/24 campaign, finishing second in the league table. They will be playing in the Champions League next term, and Mikel Arteta will need a deeper squad to do well across multiple competitions.

The Gunners have already sanctioned the departure of Granit Xhaka, and they must look to hold on to their other key midfielders this summer. Arsenal have been quite active in the transfer market so far, and they have signed Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber as well.

Partey certainly has the quality and technical attributes to succeed in Italy. So a move to Juventus might not be a bad idea for him. However, it is fair to assume that Arsenal will not let him leave on a bargain given his importance in the starting lineup. The Italian outfit might have to shell out more than the reported €18-20 million for the player.

Juventus are going through financial difficulties after missing out on Champions League football, and it will be interesting to see if they can stump up the cash to sign the Arsenal midfielder before the summer transfer window closes.
