Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad are all set to complete the signing of 29-year-old Liverpool midfielder Fabinho.
According to a report by 90min, Fabinho is all set to be the latest Premier League star who joins the Saudi Pro League. The 29-year-old’s time at Liverpool has come to an end as he has successfully passed his Al Ittihad medical.
A lot has happened at Liverpool since the end of the season. First, they decided against renewing the contracts of three of their senior midfield players and then managed to secure the services of Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai.
Even after signing the duo, they were considering pushing for another midfielder, this time for someone who is a bit more defensive. However, those plans have changed drastically over the past few weeks. Jordan Henderson and Fabinho attracted a lot of attention from SPL clubs and they are all set to make the move to the Middle East.
