Al Hilal manager Jorge Jesus is keen on having 26-year-old Liverpool forward Luiz Diaz in his ranks ahead of next season.

According to a report by the Record, Al Hilal are keen on acquiring the services of Luiz Diaz. Their manager Jorge Jesus is a big admirer of the Liverpool forward and wants him in his ranks before the start of the 2023-24 season.

The Saudi Pro League have been doing some serious business in the ongoing transfer window. And, they have no intentions of stopping. As far as Al Hilal are concerned, they have already made some big statements by signing Rúben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The trio will surely bolster their squad and make them a force to reckon with next season. They have added much-needed quality to their midfield as well as defence. And, are now looking to strengthen their attack.

The SPL club wants to sign Luiz Diaz from Liverpool. The 26-year-old forward came into the limelight while playing for Portuguese club FC Porto. His exceptional performances resulted in a lot of interest from across Europe.

Eventually, the Merseyside club managed to acquire his services in a big-money move during the winter of 2022. The Colombian international has since featured in a total of 47 matches and has been involved in 19 goals.

The 26-year-old struggled with injuries last season and only managed to feature in a total of 21 matches. He was on the pitch for just over 1300 minutes and was involved in just 8 goals. While he might not have lit up the world since joining Liverpool, the former FC Porto forward has surely shown glimpses of the talent he possesses and he could do wonders next season.

His contract with the Merseyside club runs until the summer of 2027 and he is considered an important part of their plans moving ahead. Jurgen Klopp rates him very highly and believes he could do wonders for them.

Meanwhile, Jorge Jesus is keen on having him at Al Hilal. The Portuguese manager has asked his club to sign him and they are ready to put forward an offer worth €50 million for his services. However, the Merseyside club is unlikely to sell for that kind of a price as he is one of the favourites of their German manager.
