Bayern Munich have held fresh talks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy regarding Harry Kane, but there has not been any fresh offer from the Germans.
According to Christian Falk, Bayern Munich and Tottenham have had fresh talks regarding Harry Kane, with the striker’s future still uncertain. The England captain has attracted heavy interest from the Bundesliga champions. But Spurs are unsure whether they want to conduct a sale.
The Harry Kane saga continues to rumble on as there is plenty of uncertainty regarding the striker’s future. Tottenham felt they were in the driving seat regarding his future after warding off interest from Manchester United. But Bayern Minich’s entry has put them in a spot.
Bayern have made at least two offers, with Tottenham rejecting their latest bid worth £68.5 million. Spurs are adamant about Kane not being up for sale and want to keep him beyond his current deal. Some reports from this week claimed they had offered him a new contract worth £400,000 a week.
Whether he signs that or not remains the question, but Bayern are not slowing down in their pursuit of the striker. They don’t seem deterred by Tottenham’s £120 million valuations as the two sides continue talking. While Christian Falk reports a fresh meeting, David Ornstein of the Athletic also reported the same.

Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen met with Daniel Levy in London to discuss the Kane matter further. While there have been no fresh bids for the English attacker, who scored 32 goals across all competitions, they might have met to figure out a way forward in the chase.
Kane reportedly wants to move to Bayern, but it depends on Tottenham’s stance on their talismanic striker. For Tottenham, he is their best chance to finish in the top four and subsequently return to the Champions League next season.
Bayern want a new striker and are not ready to look beyond Kane. The England captain will now form part of Tottenham’s group to travel for the pre-season. Hence, any deal or move to Bayern Munich will have to wait for some time at least.
For now, the Bavarians are optimistic about finding an agreement with Spurs for their star striker. Similarly, Tottenham are equally confident about keeping the 32-goal attacker beyond 2024, as they could plan on making another, more lucrative offer.
