Mikel Arteta is keen on bolstering his squad ahead of next season. He is looking to do everything in his power to ensure he has enough squad depth to be competitive in both the Premier League as well as the Champions League.

As a result, he wants to add as much talent as he can to his existing ranks. They have already signed Kai Havertz from Chelsea and will soon announce the signing of Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.

Despite making three star-studded signings, Arteta is keen on more. The Spanish manager wants to add another midfielder to the mix. And, he has his eyes set on Bitello.

The 23-year-old has come up the ranks at Grêmio and was promoted to their first team back in the winter of 2022. As far as the 2022-23 season is concerned, Bitello has featured in a total of 33 matches in all competitions and he has been on the pitch for around 2800 minutes.

While the contract of the Brazilian midfielder runs until the summer of 2025, Grêmio are ready to sell in the ongoing summer. They are looking to make €10 million from the 70% rights that they hold of the athlete as the rest belong to Cascavel.

Meanwhile, the report suggests that Arsenal will be ready to meet the demands of the club. And, the 23-year-old could soon make the move to England.
