Crystal Palace and West Ham United have been linked with a move for the Everton winger Demarai Gray.

A report from 90min claims that Crystal Palace and West Ham United are keen on signing 27-year-old Premier League winner Demarai Gray from Everton this summer.

Gray has been a useful player for Everton since joining the club, and he would add some much-needed pace and flair in the wide areas. Crystal Palace will have to find a quality replacement for Wilfried Zaha after the talisman winger departed the club upon the expiration of his contract.

Gray is well-settled in the Premier League, and he could prove to be a quality acquisition. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old is also a Premier League winner from his time with Leicester City a few years ago.

It will be interesting to see if Everton are prepared to sanction his departure. The winger scored six goals across all competitions last season, and his numbers are likely to improve when he is playing in a better team with better players alongside him.

Meanwhile, West Ham United are looking to add more quality to their attack as well, and the 27-year-old could prove to be an interesting acquisition for them as well. The Hammers will be competing in the UEFA Europa League next season and need a deeper squad to do well across multiple competitions.

West Ham managed to win the UEFA Europa Conference League this past season, and they will look to build on that. David Moyes will want to put together a formidable squad so that West Ham can finish in the top half and compete for European qualification.

The Hammers are expected to cash in on Declan Rice, and they should have enough funds to bring in a number of players that can improve the squad immensely. Gray could prove to be a quality acquisition for them for the right price.

The opportunity to join a club with European football could be an attractive proposition for the 27-year-old Everton winger. And it will be interesting to see how the situation develops. The player is well-settled in the Premier League, and he will be expected to make an immediate impact impact if he joins either club this summer.

Another mediocre player touted for a move to Westham . No thank you , would have been better to take the extension option on Lanzini as that was for free and same answer regarding the potential signing of Zakaria .
