Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing 20-year-old Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki this summer.

According to Marco Molla, Manchester United are now expected to submit a bid to sign Zion Suzuki. And the 20-year-old goalkeeper is reportedly keen on the transfer.

It is no secret that Manchester United will need to bring in goalkeeping reinforcements this summer, and pursuing a talented young goalkeeper like Suzuki could prove to be a wise decision. They need to sign a first-choice goalkeeper to replace David de Gea, who left the club after his contract expired last month.

Andre Onana has been earmarked as a replacement for the Spaniard, and he is expected to be the first-choice goalkeeper at Old Trafford in the coming seasons. However, Manchester United will need a quality understudy to the Cameroonian shot-stopper as well.

Suzuki would thus be a superb option to have at Old Trafford. The 20-year-old is already a Japanese international and is likely to improve further in the coming seasons. He could develop into a key asset for Manchester United in the near future.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has done well to nurture talented young players during his time at Ajax and Manchester United. He could help the 20-year-old develop and fulfil his tremendous potential. The opportunity to move to Manchester United will be an exciting option for the player, and it would be a massive step up in his career.

The player is likely to be attracted to the idea of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, and he will look to prove his quality at Manchester United next season. The Red Devils certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done and it remains to be seen whether they can agree on a fee with the J league outfit soon.

Meanwhile, a move for Andre Onana is likely to be completed soon, and the Inter Milan goalkeeper should prove to be a superb acquisition. He had an impressive campaign with the Italian club last year and help them reach the final of the UEFA Champions League. He has worked with Erik ten Hag in the past at Ajax and should be able to settle in quickly and make an immediate impact.
