West Ham United are formulating an offer for Denis Zakaria and contemplating offering a loan deal with a buy option to Juventus.

According to Tutto Juve, West Ham United are formulating a plan to sign Denis Zakaria as a replacement for Declan Rice. There have been talks with Juventus to figure out a deal, with the Hammers likely to offer a loan move with an option to purchase the midfielder.

Denis Zakaria will reflect on the season that passed, where he would have liked to have a better impact than he did at Chelsea. The 26-year-old Chelsea flop had a disastrous season on loan from Juventus, which at the beginning seemed promising.

Massimiliano Allegri does not consider the 26-year-old Chelsea flop a part of his plans for the upcoming season at Juventus. The renewal of Adrien Rabiot may have extinguished all hope of a comeback for the Sweiss star, which has led him to find a new club.

As things stand, he may have to travel only a little bit, as West Ham United are keen to land the 26-year-old this summer. The Hammers are keen on a new midfielder following the departure of star man Declan Rice to Arsenal. The Gunners finally agreed on a fee with the London side and will take the England international in a £105 million deal.

West Ham are currently formulating a way to sign Zakaria and could offer a loan move with a buy option. The clause will likely remain optional rather than an obligation, with the latter suiting tJuvenhtus better. The idea is to allow the Swiss star another shot at Premier League football, but the Londoners will like to keep the deal safe.

The report suggests they are open to offering an €18 million buy option, but Juventus value the midfielder slightly higher at €25 million. There’s optimism a compromise could be found between the teams, which will reduce Bianconer’s wage bill.

Whether Zakaria will ably replace Rice remains the question, but he might prove himself in the Premier League. Now the player will also decide whether he wants to join the Hammers, but he may contemplate remaining in London.
