The 18-year-old is one of the most sought-after players in world football at this point in time. Guler has made quite a name for himself with impressive performances in the recently concluded season.
Despite being just 18, he has already established himself as a regular in the Fenerbahce first team. The teenager made his debut back in August 2021 and has not looked back since.
He has gone from strength to strength over the past two seasons. Guler featured in a total of 35 matches in the recently-concluded season. He managed to find the back of the net on six occasions and bagged seven assists in just over 1,500 minutes on the pitch.
His impressive performances have attracted the attention of Barcelona. The Spanish giants are keen on acquiring his services. They believe he could do wonders in the near future and are ready to battle with the English clubs for his services.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United are one of the clubs that have been linked with the 18-year-old for a while now. The Magpies have been very smart with their transfer business over the past year and a half. And, they see a great opportunity in the Turkish international.
He could be a great addition to their ranks for the present as well as the future. Newcastle even met the representatives of the player earlier this month in Dubai. However, they are not the ones leading the race for his services.
