Fulham are interested in acquiring the services of 22-year-old Leeds United attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson.

According to Daily Mail, Fulham are keen on having Brenden Aaronson in their ranks ahead of next season. Their manager Marco Silva is keen on bolstering his midfield and is looking for an attacking midfielder as well as a central midfielder.

As far as the no. 10 role is concerned, the Cottagers have their eyes on Brenden Aaronson. The Leeds United midfielder’s future is uncertain, and he is expected to be on the move given his team’s relegation to the second division.

The 22-year-old joined Leeds ahead of the 2022/23 season from Red Bull Salzburg for a fee of £24.7 million. It was a highly anticipated move that saw the American international join the English club. However, things have not really gone according to plan since he joined the club. While his individual performances have been decent, the team has struggled as a whole.

The American international featured in a total of 40 matches for the Leeds first team and was involved in four goals. He was on the pitch for over 2,500 minutes. The 22-year-old tried his best but failed to save them from relegation.

Leeds United are all set to feature in the EFL Championship next season and the future of a lot of their young stars has become the talk of the town. Aaronson is one of the players who is on the radar of multiple clubs from across Europe. While his contract at the club runs until the summer of 2027, there is a relegation clause that allows him to leave on loan. And, Fulham are keen on acquiring his services on loan.

Marco Silva led Fulham to finish 10th last season, and he is keen on bolstering his squad in order to take the next step. Silva is looking for a creative midfielder to slot in as his new number 10, and Aaronson fits the bill perfectly.

The relegation clause allows the American international to leave on loan. And Fulham are ready to acquire him. However, the Cottagers are yet to meet the full conditions for the move to take place. But, since Silva is keen on having the player, Fulham are expected to meet the demands and get the move done in the near future.
