Chelsea and Inter Milan are all set to discuss a potential deal involving 23-year-old defender Trevoh Chalobah.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan are interested in acquiring the services of Trevoh Chalobah. The Serie A giants are all set to meet with Chelsea in the coming days as the two clubs look to discuss numerous players. The 23-year-old’s future is expected to be one of the talking points of this meeting.
Chalobah has been a part of the Chelsea setup since his childhood days. He has come up the ranks and managed to establish himself in their first team. In the initial years, he went from strength to strength and played quite an important role. But, things have changed of late.
The 23-year-old’s game time has gone down over the past year, and he is unlikely to be a regular next season given the number of signings they have already done. And, a few more that can follow.
Chelsea’s new manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to offload players that are surplus to requirements. And, Chalobah is likely to be a name on the list. Despite having a contract that runs until the summer of 2028, he is likely to be on his way out.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan and Chelsea are all set to meet in the coming days. While the main topic of this meeting is Romelu Lukaku’s future. Inter are all set to discuss a potential deal for defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
But, with the PIF ready to break the bank to acquire the 31-year-old, Inter might not be able to land him at the club. And, they are all set to discuss a potential deal for Trevoh Chalobah. The Serie A giants could push for the 23-year-old versatile defender as they are desperate to add another defender to the mix.
With Milan Skriniar set to leave and Francesco Acerbi already 35, the Nerazzurri need a new defender to make sure they maintain the level of performance they showcased in the 2022/23 season, where they ended up making it to the Champions League final.
