Arsenal are ready to table a fresh offer worth £75 million to sign 21-year-old

According to a report by London World, Arsenal are ready to reignite their pursuit of Moises Caicedo. The 21-year-old Brighton & Hove Albion star has been on their radar for a while now. They tried to acquire him back in the day but failed. However, the Gunners are once again preparing to push for him in the summer with a bid worth £75 million.

Caicedo joined Brighton back in the winter of 2021. The 21-year-old has gone from strength to strength ever since he joined the Seagulls. The Ecuadorian international has made quite a name for himself over the past 18 months. His performances have attracted a lot of interest, and a lot of clubs tried to acquire him in the winter transfer window.

Arsenal were one of the clubs who wanted to sign him in the January transfer window. The Gunners went all out for his services but failed to land him despite making a bid of around £75 million. Brighton rejected the bid as they didn’t want to sell the 21-year-old midway through the season.

The decision to not let him leave actually worked in their favour as they ended up qualifying for the Europa League. And, just after the end of the winter window, the Seagulls penned down a new deal with Caicedo, extending his stay at the club until the summer of 2027.

While reports suggested that he might no longer be available, the reality is that Brighton made him a promise before he put pen to paper. Roberto De Zerbi assured the Ecuadorian international that they would let him leave if they receive a sizeable price for his services.

With Brighton’s stance pretty clear regarding the future of Moises Caicedo, Arsenal are ready to reignite their pursuit of his services. The Gunners are ready to present an offer of around £75 million similar to what they did in the winter.
