Juventus are interested in signing 31-year-old Real Madrid utility man Lucas Vazquez in the summer transfer window.

According to a report from Fichajes, Serie A giants Juventus are prepared to offer €7 million for 31-year-old Real Madrid utility man Lucas Vazquez in the coming weeks.

Juventus are hoping to add more quality and depth to their squad. And they have identified the Real Madrid utility man as an ideal option. Vazquez has been an important squad player for Real Madrid over the years, and he could be a useful acquisition for the Italian outfit as well.

It has been a disappointing season for Juventus and they will look to get back to their best next season. The Turin giants will want to challenge for major trophies, and they will need a bigger and better squad in order for that to happen.

The 31-year-old Real Madrid winger has a contract with the Spanish club until the summer of 2025. But he is unlikely to get ample game time with them. A move to Italy could help him play more often, and the Spaniard could be tempted this summer.

If Juventus manage to sign him for the reported €7 million, it might be a major bargain. Vazquez is capable of operating on both flanks as a winger, and he can slot in as a full-back as well. His versatility will be an added bonus for Juventus, and he could be an important option to have especially during rotation.

There is no doubt that the 31-year-old has the technical ability to succeed in Serie A. But it remains to be seen whether Juventus and Real Madrid can agree on a fee now. Meanwhile, Real Madrid are set to lose a number of players in the summer. So it will be interesting to see if they are willing to weaken the squad further and let the 31-year-old winger leave.

Vazquez has been a utility man for them, and his departure will surely weaken Real Madrid as a team. As for the player, he needs to play more often at this stage of his career. So a permanent exit from Santiago Bernabeu could be ideal for him.
