Arsenal have offered €15 million to acquire the services of 18-year-old Real Valladolid full-back Ivan Fresneda.
According to a report by Fichajes, Arsenal are keen on having Ivan Fresneda in their ranks. The 18-year-old has made quite a name for himself with his performances in the 2022/23 season. And, quite a few clubs are interested in acquiring his services.
Fresneda has come through the ranks at Real Valladolid at some pace. The teenager was promoted to their first team ahead of the ongoing season. And, he has managed to feature in 24 matches and has been on the pitch for over 1,800 minutes.
The 18-year-old’s performances in the Spanish top flight have attracted a lot of attention. While his contract at the club runs until the summer of 2025, the teenage sensation could be on the move in the upcoming window given the amount of interest in his services.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are one of the clubs keen on having the teenager in their ranks. The Gunners have been following him right from the start of the season and have been quite impressed with his performances.

Mikel Arteta’s men were in the Premier League title race until the very end but failed to claim the title. Arsenal will push again next season with an improved squad. And, Arteta is keen on strengthening a few areas ahead of next season.
He wants to add a new central midfielder and a right-sided full-back. As far as the right-back is concerned, Arteta has his eyes set on Valladolid full-back Fresneda. And the report claims that the Gunners have already tabled a €15 million to sign the 18-year-old Spanish wonderkid.
While Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu have done a decent job on the right side of the defence, neither of them is attacking in nature. And, Arteta is keen on adding someone who has pace and the desire to attack. The 18-year-old seems to be a perfect fit for the Arsenal manager’s plans.
The Gunners might have put forward an offer for the teenager but there is nothing official yet. And, there could be other clubs who might make it difficult for the Gunners. As a result, it will be interesting to see if they can land him at the club.
