Arsenal have made a lucrative offer to acquire the services of 18-year-old Real Valladolid full-back Ivan Fresneda.

According to Bild via SportWitness, Arsenal are keen on having Ivan Fresneda in their ranks. The 18-year-old has been doing wonders on the pitch and there are quite a few clubs keen on acquiring the services of the teenage sensation.

Fresneda has come through the ranks at Real Valladolid. He was promoted to their first team ahead of the ongoing season. The 18-year-old has a total of 24 appearances so far this season and has been on the pitch for over 1,800 minutes.

He has put in some impressive shifts over the course of the season. And, his performances have attracted a lot of attention. While the teenager’s contract at the Spanish club runs until the summer of 2025, he could be on the move in the summer given the amount of interest in him.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have been interested in the 18-year-old ever since the start of the season. The Gunners have been monitoring him since the winter transfer window and are keen on adding him to their squad ahead of next season.

Even the player is aware of the interest from Arsenal and has openly admitted that he is proud to be linked with the club. Meanwhile, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is keen on bolstering his squad ahead of next season.

His priority is to sign a new right-back in the upcoming transfer window. While Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu have done a decent job on the right side of the defence, they don’t really have that great an attacking threat.

Arteta wants to add someone who has pace and can help them be more attacking. Fresneda seems to have all the qualities that the Arsenal boss is in search of. The 18-year-old could form a deadly pair with Bukayo Saka on the right flank and his arrival will surely help their cause.

While they have put forward a lucrative offer for the teenage sensations services, there are other clubs who will push them all the way. Borussia Dortmund are one of the clubs keen on having the 18-year-old in their ranks and might make life difficult for Arsenal.
