Manchester United have been linked with a move for the Napoli duo Victor Osimhen and Kim Min-jae.

According to a report from GiveMeSport, the Red Devils are looking to sign both players during the summer transfer window and they are currently in a promising position to land them.

Dean Jones said: “This has been a really interesting twist in the tale. It definitely raises new doubts about the whole security of that team, who could potentially be unsettled by it and consider a move probably more than they would have if the foundations were going to stay in place.

“The likes of Kim or Osimhen I’d say were the two most likely to be touted with a transfer on the back of Luciano Spalletti potentially moving and I’d say it becomes more doable if that’s the case.”

Osimhen has been one of the best strikers on the planet this season and he has helped Napoli win the league title. He could prove to be a sensational acquisition for Manchester United if they manage to sign him during the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils will need to bring in attacking reinforcements this summer. They have been overly reliant on Marcus Rashford all season and the 25-year-old England international clearly needs more help and support from his teammates.

Osimhen has proven himself in Italian football and he could be looking to take the next step in his career and pursue a different challenge. The opportunity to play in the Premier League for a big club like Manchester United could prove to be a tempting proposition for him.

Osimhen has 30 goals across all competitions this season and he could be the ideal partner for Rashford in the attack. He could allow the Manchester United striker to operate in his natural role as the left-sided winger and lead the line at Old Trafford himself.

The 24-year-old is likely to improve with coaching and experience and Erik ten Hag could help him fulfil his world-class potential.

Meanwhile, Kim Min-jae has been one of the best defenders in the Italian league this season and he could improve Manchester United at the back. The Red Devils need to find upgrades on Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof this summer and the South Korean international certainly fits the profile.

The 26-year-old is at the peak of his career and he is ready to make the step up to the Premier League. He has the physical and technical attributes to thrive in English football. He could be an asset for Manchester United next season.

The Red Devils certainly have the financial resources to pull off both signings, and it will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done.
