Declan Rice has been linked with a summer move away from West Ham United, with Arsenal and Manchester United keen.

Declan Rice is a target for Manchester United and Arsenal. And a report from Daily Mirror claims that the 24-year-old defensive midfielder is keen on moving to the Emirates instead of Old Trafford in the summer.

Rice has established himself as a promising midfielder in the Premier League, and he has emerged as a viable target for Arsenal. It remains to be seen whether Manchester United can convince the player to join them instead. Both teams are in need of midfield reinforcements, and Rice would be a superb acquisition for them.

Manchester United will have to find a quality partner for Casemiro, and Rice would be the ideal signing for them. The 24-year-old will add defensive cover and drive to the Manchester United midfield next season. So it is hardly surprising that they want to enter the bidding for him.

Furthermore, he is well-settled in the Premier League and will likely make an immediate impact at Old Trafford. Rice is reportedly keen on joining a club in the Champions League, and Manchester United have secured a top-four finish. In addition, they have more financial resources compared to the Arsenal as well and can easily pay £100 million to sign him.

On the other hand, Arsenal have been tracking Rice for a while, and the player is reportedly keen on a move to north London. The Gunners managed to challenge for the league title this year and they will be hoping to go all the way next season.

They must look to bring in the right reinforcements this summer to compete with Manchester City. So signing a quality midfielder should be a top priority for them. The 24-year-old England international seems like the ideal acquisition for Arsenal, and it remains to be seen whether the Gunners can beat the Red Devils to his signature.

The midfielder is reportedly valued at £100 million, and it remains to be seen whether the two clubs are ready to fork out that kind of money for him. Rice has a contract with West Ham until the summer of 2024, and his suitors will be hoping to sign him for a more reasonable price.
