James Maddison has been linked with a summer move away from Leicester City, with Arsenal joining the race to sign him.

A report from Daily Mirror has claimed that Arsenal are lining up a move for James Maddison. And they could look to sell Emile Smith Rowe in order to sign Maddison in the summer transfer window.

Other English clubs are keeping tabs on the English international as well. Meanwhile, the Leicester City midfielder has 19 goal contributions across all competitions this season, and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for the Gunners.

Arsenal have been overly dependent on Martin Odegaard for creativity this season, and they need to bring in more depth into the side. Maddison will add goals and assists to the Arsenal midfield. And his set-piece prowess will add a new dimension to their attack as well.

The Gunners have qualified for the UEFA Champions League. So they will have to bring in more depth in order to navigate an increased number of fixtures next season. Maddison is well-settled in the Premier League, and he could transform them in the final third.
