Arsenal could enter the battle for Torino’s Antonio Sanabria, who has big suitors from Italy in Napoli and AC Milan.

According to Area Napoli, Arsenal are in a transfer tussle for Torino striker Antonio Sanabria. Napoli and AC Milan are also keen, with the former having a strong interest amid speculation about Victor Osimhen’s future. The Gunners could target a new striker as part of Mikel Arteta’s shuffle.

Arsenal have a big summer ahead, as Edu Gaspar and Mikel Arteta plan to make significant moves. The Gunners have to manage their incomings and outgoings carefully. The manager wants to strengthen his squad to challenge in the Premier League and Champions League.

Many big-name arrivals could come in, with heavy links to Declan Rice as their priority target. For Arteta, strengthening the midfield seems like the key objective for the summer window. They are expected to dip into the market, particularly with Granit Xhaka also leaving.

Ilkay Gundogan is being considered as a perfect replacement for Xhaka. However, there are difficulties in signing the Manchester City midfielder. Arteta reportedly wants Moises Caicedo and would also like defensive reinforcements.

Arsenal are keen to sign a new wide attacker in the summer to cover for Bukayo Saka and add a new dimension to their gameplay. Moving centrally, they are flush with striker options. But Arteta might shuffle the pack a little.

Gabriel Jesus might remain their starting forward as things stand, with Eddie Nketiah continuing as his deputy. The returning Folarin Balogun might leave if he does not intend on signing a new deal, as Arsenal might cash in after a terrific season in Ligue 1.

Dusan Vlahovic’s name has been reportedly mentioned several times. There are doubts about whether Arsenal will spend a huge sum on the Serbian striker. And the latest links are with Torino striker Antonio Sanabria, who has 12 goals this season and comes with a €25 million price tag.

The 27-year-old has had a good campaign with the Turin side and is also attracting the interest of Serie A rivals, including Napoli and AC Milan. The Serie A champions, in particular, have kept an eye on the forward’s situation.

Aurelio De Laurentiis might fear a premature departure of star striker Victor Osimhen. They consider Sanabria as his replacement of sorts. Meanwhile, Arsenal are keen to add depth with a new forward. The lure of the Premier League might play a huge part in landing the €25 million-rated striker.

For that price, the Gunners might think about making an offer and experiment by signing him. Arsenal will play Champions League football, and Arteta would need a quality set of players to rotate with. He must rely on a different set of forwards for the season. And someone like Sanabria could prove a good addition. Whether he decides to leave Italy for the temptation of the Premier League remains the question. If a club like Arsenal come in, Sanabria has to make a key decision.
