With David de Gea all set to renew his contract, it is unlikely that Henderson will get an opportunity to be the number one at United for a few more seasons and he could consider his future.
The 26-year-old was loaned out to Nottingham Forest ahead of the ongoing season. He has featured in 18 Premier League matches and has six clean sheets to his name. While injuries have not been kind to him in the current campaign, the England international has done wonders in the limited opportunities he has had.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest have managed to survive in the English top flight, and they have already started planning for the upcoming transfer window. They are currently 16th in the league and have a six-point advantage over 18th-placed Leeds United with a game to go.
