Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed that Lucas Moura will leave the club at the end of the season, and Sevilla are keen on him.

Lucas Moura is out of contract in the summer, and he has decided not to renew his deal with Tottenham. According to a report from Fichajes, Spanish outfit Sevilla are hoping to sign him in a Bosman move in the coming weeks.

Moura has been a useful player for Tottenham since joining Tottenham in a €28.4 million deal, helping them challenge for league titles and UEFA Champions League trophies. There is no doubt that he is a quality player and could prove to be a superb addition for Sevilla, especially on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old is still capable of performing at the highest level, and it remains to be seen whether he is keen on a move to Spain. Sevilla are a big club who are used to challenging for trophies every season. And they have managed to reach the final of the Europa League this year.

Moura has struggled for regular game time at Tottenham this season, and he needed to leave the club in order to play regularly. If Sevilla can provide him with the necessary gametime assurances, there is no reason why he would snub a move to the Spanish club. The Brazilian international has been linked with a return to his homeland as well.

Moura is versatile enough to play anywhere across the front three, and he could prove to be a useful squad member for Sevilla in the coming seasons. Signing a player of his experience and quality for free could prove to be a masterstroke for the European finalists.

It will be interesting to see if the 30-year-old can re-capture his peak form with regular game time at Sevilla next season. He will be hoping to add creativity, flair and goals to the Sevilla attack. He has the technical attributes to succeed in the Spanish league and he could be an important first-team player for Sevilla.
