Real Madrid are keen on having 23-year-old Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez in their ranks ahead of next season.

According to a report by Fichajes, Real Madrid have retained their interest in the services of Julian Alvarez. The 23-year-old Manchester City forward has been in sensational form in the ongoing season. And, there are quite a few clubs interested in acquiring him.

Real Madrid suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City in the semi-final second leg of the Champions League. They were outclassed by a much better City outfit. And, Los Blancos will now have to turn their attention towards the transfer market in order to strengthen themselves and push for the UCL title again next season.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid have been linked with Julian Alvarez for a while now. And, it seems they are ready to push for his signatures in the summer. His performance against the team in white in the second leg caught the eye of Real Madrid’s president Florentino Perez who was present in the stands.

While the 23-year-old was on the pitch for a couple of minutes, he did leave his mark with a stunning goal. And, the Argentine World Cup winner has scored 16 goals and has five assists in his 46 appearances for Manchester City.

Despite not being the preferred choice under Guardiola, the former River Plate forward has managed to produce the goods whenever asked to step on the pitch. His performances have attracted the attention of quite a few clubs and there could be a bidding war for his services in the summer.

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old is valued at around €50 million, and Los Blancos are willing to pay that price to sign him. They believe he could be an ideal replacement for Karim Benzema in the long run.

The 35-year-old is in the twilight of his career, and Real Madrid need to secure his replacement as soon as possible. The arrival of Alvarez will strengthen their attack as a whole because the 23-year-old can feature in multiple positions.

While Carlo Ancelotti’s men are keen on having him in their ranks, it will be interesting to see if Manchester City are ready to let go of the Argentine World Cup winner who is destined for greatness.

Dreaming if you think City will sell Alvarez for that tiny amount. Are you forgetting his record at City and he is a World Cup winner with Argentina as their main forward. 😂😂😂

He’s not for sale, Manchester won’t sell him.
