Barcelona are ready to offer a part-exchange deal to acquire the services of 28-year-old Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich.

According to a report by Fichajes, Barcelona are keen on having Joshua Kimmich in their ranks. The 28-year-old midfielder’s future at Bayern Munich is uncertain, and the Catalan giants are ready to do everything in their power to land him at the club.

Kimmich has been a great servant for the Bundesliga giants during his time at the club. He has gone from strength to strength over the years and currently, is amongst the best in the world. While his contract at Bayern Munich runs until the summer of 2025, the 28-year-old utility man could be on the move in the summer.

He is not happy with how things are behind the scenes at Bayern Munich. Kimmich was taken by surprise by the sacking of Julian Nagelsmann, and he has been considering his future at the club for a while now.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are ready to go all out for his services. They believe the 28-year-old could be an ideal replacement for Sergio Busquets. On top of that, Kimmich is a versatile player who can also help them strengthen their right-back position.

The Catalan giants do not have the financial means to pull off this transfer. As a result, they are ready to offer one of three key players in a deal to sign Kimmich. Barcelona are ready to offer one of Andreas Christensen, Frenkie de Jong or Ousmane Dembele in return for the 28-year-old Bayern midfielder.

Christensen joined Barcelona giants ahead of the ongoing season. And, he has been sensational since making the move from Chelsea. The Danish defender’s form and his ability to play from the back might help Bayern.

Meanwhile, de Jong is another player who has been in sensational form. And, he could easily slot into the Bayern Munich style of play.  On top of that, Bayern have always been interested in his services. Dembele is another star player that Barcelona are willing to let go of in return for the German international.
