Meanwhile, his representatives were recently in contact with the Magpies, with Barcelona considering selling him if they re-sign Lionel Messi.
Ousmane Dembele has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in August 2017. The Frenchman was supposed to be the long-term replacement for Neymar, only for fitness issues to plague him. However, he has found a second wind since Xavi Hernandez’s arrival as the manager.
