Aston Villa are interested in acquiring the services of 22-year-old Valencia midfielder Andre Almeida ahead of next season.
According to Marcos Benito via El Chiringuito TV , Aston Villa are keen on having Andre Almeida in their ranks. The Premier League club are considering making a €30 million offer for the highly sought after midfielder. The 22-year-old has had a great season so far, and a lot of clubs are interested in his services.
The Portugal Under-21 star came up the ranks at Vitoria Guimaraes SC before joining Valencia ahead of the ongoing season. He has done wonders in his first season in Spain. The 22-year-old has hardly put a foot wrong, and his strong performances by him have not gone unnoticed.
Almeida featured in 90 matches for the Portuguese club and managed to contribute towards six goals before making his move to the La Liga club. And, since joining them in the summer, he has already been involved in 29 matches and has 6 goal contributions.
The 22-year-old is a versatile midfielder who prefers playing as a central midfielder but can also feature as a defensive or attacking midfielder. His consistent performances of him have attracted the attention of Unai Emery’s club. And, they are keen on having him in their ranks.

Villa did not have a great start to the season, and they were struggling for survival initially. However, post the appointment of Emery as their manager, a lot has changed at the club. They are currently sixth in the Premier League and are expected to secure European football for the next season.
The club have already started to plan for the summer. They are interested in signing a new midfielder and have identified 22-year-old Almeida as a great option.
Emery is interested in his profile and wants him at the club ahead of next season. He believes the 22-year-old could be a great addition to his ranks for the present as well as the future. And, they are all set to bid around €30 million for the Portuguese midfielder.
However, Villa will have to battle it out with Brighton, who are also keen on having the Valencia midfielder in their ranks. The Seagulls have had an equally good season, and they have started planning for the summer. Brighton are expected to push for Andre Almeida’s signatures in the summer.
