Liverpool have made a decision on their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham, a target for Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Jude Bellingham has been linked with a move to Liverpool recently. But a report from The Guardian claims that the Reds have now decided to move on to other targets. Apparently, the £135 million cost involved in the transfer has been deemed unreasonable. This has cleared the path for other suitors, including Chelsea and Real Madrid.

Borussia Dortmund are demanding a premium for the England international, and it will be interesting to see where he has up. He has been linked with clubs like Real Madrid and Chelsea as well. The two clubs certainly have more financial resources compared to Liverpool and should be able to pay the asking price.

On the other hand, Liverpool are in need of a complete midfield revamp. They cannot just afford to sign one central midfielder this summer. Jurgen Klopp will have to bring in multiple reinforcements So it makes sense for him to move on to other targets.

Liverpool have been linked with players like Alexis Mac Allister, Moises Caicedo, Mason Mount and Matheus Nunes in recent months. It will be interesting to see if the Reds can bring in these players when the summer transfer window opens.

At the cost of the reported asking price for Jude Bellingham Liverpool could easily sign two or three players this summer. It has been a disappointing season for Liverpool so far, and they are currently eighth in the league table. They are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League next season, and it will be difficult for them to attract world-class talents.

Bellingham is undoubtedly one of the best young trailers in the world, and he will want to join a club capable of challenging for major trophies. A move to Liverpool might not be ideal for him either. Jurgen Klopp has previously built a title-winning team at Liverpool, and it remains to be seen whether the German manager can replicate that feat once again.

Liverpool are in desperate need of finances, and it will be interesting to see if the club owners are prepared to bankroll a defining window for Klopp this summer. As for Bellingham, he looks certain to leave the German club this summer. And a move to Real Madrid or Chelsea could be the ideal next step in his career.
