Wolverhampton Wanderers are keen on acquiring the services of 21-year-old Barcelona winger Ez Abde ahead of next season.
According to a report by SPORT, Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers are desperate about signing Ez Abde. The 21-year-old has been doing wonders in the ongoing season and his performances haven’t gone unnoticed.
The Barcelona winger is on the radar of quite a few clubs, and they are likely to push for his signature in the summer. The Catalan giants acquired his services back in the summer of 2021 from Hercules CF.
He started off with their ‘B’ team and has gone up the ranks since. The 21-year-old is currently out on loan at CA Osasuna. The Morocco international has made a name for himself in the ongoing season while playing for Osasuna.
The Barcelona winger has featured in 26 matches and has been on the pitch for just over 1300 minutes. The 21-year-old has had quite an impact in the limited time, finding the back of the net on five occasions and has two assists to his name.
His performances have attracted the attention of Wolves. The Premier League mainstays are keen on having a new winger ahead of next season. And, they believe Abde perfectly fits the profile they are looking for.
The Morocco international is all set to return to his parent club in the summer. And, Xavi will make a decision on him once he returns. The Barcelona manager said, “He is taking advantage of the transfer very well. When he returns we will assess what we do with him.”
With Barcelona desperate for funds to settle their finances, they could offload the 21-year-old for the rights. However, the player dreams of playing for the Catalan giants and wants to stay at the club. Wolverhampton Wanderers are very serious about their pursuit of the Barcelona winger, and they are likely to go all the way to land him at the club.
However, it won’t be that easy even if the Catalan giants are ready to sell because Atletico Madrid are also interested in the 21-year-old. Diego Simeone is a big admirer of the Morocco international and wants to add him to his ranks ahead of next season.
