Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are ready to break the bank to acquire the services of Josko Gvardiol.
As reported by Fichajes, Manchester United, Chelsea and Real Madrid are willing to pay €100 million for Josko Gvardiol. All three clubs have been linked with the RB Leipzig defender for a while now. And, as per the report, they are all set to break the bank for the 21-year-old.
Gvardiol came through the ranks at Dinamo Zagreb before joining RB Leipzig back in the summer of 2021. The 21-year-old has since gone from strength to strength at the Bundesliga club. He has established himself as one of the most important players for both club and country.
The Leipzig defender had an incredible FIFA World Cup 2022, where he was one of the reasons why Croatia once again made it to the semi-finals of the global event. As far as the ongoing season is concerned, he has featured in 34 matches and has three goals to his name.
While the German club are keen on keeping hold of their star player for another season, they are willing to listen to offers over €100 million. And, three clubs are willing to go all out for the 21-year-old.
Real Madrid believe the Croatian international could be one of their star players. Gvardiol is a versatile player who can feature in different positions in the defence, and Real Madrid preferably want him to take up the left-back slot at the club, where Ferland Mendy has not been at his best.
The 21-year-old could eventually move into a more central role but for now, he is looked at as a possible upgrade at left-back. Meanwhile, Chelsea are also keen on signing the Croatian international in a €100 million deal. The Blues might have signed Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana and Badiashile in the recent past, but they are still not confident about their backline.
The west London club tried signing him last summer, and they are all set to return for his signature in the upcoming transfer window. Real Madrid and Chelsea will have to battle it out with Manchester United, who are also keen on having the 21-year-old in their ranks.

While Manchester United have their central defenders sorted for now, they are keen on having a new right-back. And, Gvardiol can surely slot in as a right-back to start off and eventually be their star centre-back. Even the Red Devils had tried signing him in the summer, and they are all set to enter the transfer tussle for his services. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
