Harry Kane has been linked with a summer move away from Tottenham but might stay put if Mauricio Pochettino returns.

Harry Kane is reportedly a target for Manchester United. And Football Insider claims the 29-year-old is ready to commit his long-term future to Tottenham Hotspur if Mauricio Pochettino is appointed as the club’s next manager.

Tottenham sacked Antonio Conte on Sunday, and they will have to bring in a quality replacement for the Italian manager. The north London club have been linked with managers like Julian Nagelsmann and Mauricio Pochettino in recent weeks.

Pochettino enjoyed a close relationship with his players during his previous spell at the club. In addition, he helped Harry Kane develop into one of the best strikers in the world.

Tottenham challenged for the league title and the Champions League under his management. And the 51-year-old Argentine is reportedly open to a return. Pochettino will probably feel that he has unfinished business at the club, and he will want to win a trophy with them.

Kane clearly enjoys a strong relationship with the former manager, and he is ready to stay at Tottenham if Pochettino is brought back to the club. It will be interesting to see if Daniel Levy is prepared to bring the 51-year-old back to the Premier League in the coming months. Levy shares a strong bond with Pochettino as well.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are currently fighting for a place in the Champions League. And it remains to be seen whether they can secure a top-four finish this season. The departure of Antonio Conte will certainly come as a blow to the club. Cristian Stellini will take over as interim boss for the remainder of the season, with Ryan Mason being the assistant head coach.

Pochettino will not take over midway through the season. And the Argentine will probably wait until the summer before taking over at Tottenham. As for Kane, Tottenham will be desperate to hold on to him beyond this season amid interest from Manchester United. He is the best player at the club, and his exit would severely weaken the side next season.
