Arsenal hold an interest in Noah Okafor, with Red Bull Salzburg hoping to command a considerable price for the £25 million-rated forward.

According to Daily Mail, Arsenal have expressed an interest in signing Noah Okafor next summer. The Swiss forward will enter the final year of his deal at Red Bull Salzburg. The Austrian outfit will hope for a considerable fee of around £25 million for the Swiss forward if other sides are keen.

Noah Okafor remains a highly-rated talent across European circles, with many clubs admiring him throughout the season. Interest in the striker began last summer. But it proved a wise decision for the Swiss forward to remain with RB Salzburg.

During his stay, he has achieved immense experience playing in the UEFA Champions League, scoring against some big sides like AC Milan and Chelsea. With his contract entering the final year, Okafor might seek an opportunity to play at a higher level, with several clubs keen.

Okafor has ten goals and five assists in 30 games across all competitions for Salzburg. A few Premier League clubs will see his overall gameplay as suitable. Leeds United remain keen on signing him, as they have signed a few players from Salzburg in the last two windows.

West Ham United and Tottenham are also interested, as per the report. The Hammers and Arsenal reportedly made enquiries for the forward before the January transfer window. While David Moyes signed the experienced Danny Ings, the Gunners went for Leandro Trossard, who has proven a hit at the Emirates.

The Gunners have not lost interest in Okafor and have reportedly opened the doors for a summer transfer. With the £25 million-rated forward attracting the admiration of many top clubs, Salzburg hopes for a significant fee in the sale.

The Austrian club may want around £25 million. But with the player entering the final year, it is unlikely anyone is about to pay that much. Arsenal reportedly kept tabs in January as they sought an immediate cover for Gabriel Jesus ahead of a title challenge.

With Trossard, they have managed to fill the void, and they might return for Okafor in the summer. The Swiss star’s talents may suit Mikel Arteta’s system, while the coach may have received a positive response from his international teammate Granit Xhaka.

The situation is only evolving in the current period as nothing seems advanced with a move. Okafor will certainly have eyeballs all around. But if Arsenal are keen, then the player may consider a move to the Emirates.
