Roma attacker Paulo Dybala has been linked with a move away from the Italian club at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has had an impressive campaign with Jose Mourinho’s side and it is no surprise that the top clubs are looking to sign him. A report from Calciomercatoweb claims that clubs like Manchester United and Barcelona are keen on signing the player.

The 29-year-old has 13 goals and 8 assists to his name across all competitions this season and he could prove to be a quality acquisition for Barcelona who are looking to add more depth to their attack. He has a release clause of £10.6 million in his contract.

Robert Lewandowski is the only reliable goalscorer at the club right now and the signing of the Argentine international will give Xavi Hernandez more options to work with.

Barcelona are on course to win the Spanish league title this season and they will be hoping to win the Champions League next season. They will need a deeper squad with more options in order for that to happen and Dybala would be a quality signing.

The Argentine is at the peak of his powers and he could be tempted to join the Spanish giants in the summer.

Dybala has already proven himself in the Italian league with multiple clubs and he will be hoping to pursue a different challenge now.

Apart from his ability to score goals, the Argentine international is an excellent creator and his link-up play will add a new dimension to the Barcelona attack as well.

As far as Manchester United are concerned, Erik ten Hag is hoping to bring in someone who can play centrally and allow Marcus Rashford to operate in his natural role as the left-sided forward. Dybala can take up that central position and function as the false nine.

The Argentine international is exceptional when it comes to creating opportunities for his fellow attackers and his ability to link up in the final third will help players like Rashford and Antony. The opportunity to play in the Premier League could be an exciting proposition for the player and it remains to be seen how the situation evolves.

Roma will be hoping to keep the player beyond this summer and he has a contract with them until 2025. However, the likes of Manchester United and Barcelona have the finances and the pull to turn the player’s head and convince him to leave the capital club.
