Bayern Munich are not willing to listen to any sort of offer for central midfielder Ryan Gravenberch amid interest from Liverpool.
Christian Falk has told Caught Offside that Bayern Munich will not sell Ryan Gravenberch in the summer. The German giants are well aware of the interest in his services from across Europe and have declared him to be not for sale.
The 20-year-old has been a part of Jurgen Klopp’s transfer target list. Liverpool were keen on signing him ahead of next season. But, they have encountered a major roadblock as Bayern have decided to keep Gravenberch at the club.
The Dutch international was a part of the Ajax youth academy since his childhood days. He went up through the ranks at the club and made it into this Ajax’s first team in 2019. The 20-year-old featured in 103 matches for the Dutch club and had 25 goal involvements before making a move to Bayern.
He joined the German giants ahead of the ongoing season. Gravenberch might have featured in 24 matches for the team in red, but he has not been on the park for long enough. The majority of his appearances have come off the bench and he has accumulated a total of only 684 minutes.
Gravenberch has a contract at the club that runs until the summer of 2027. However, the lack of game time has frustrated the player and a lot of clubs from across Europe have their eyes set on the 20-year-old Dutch midfielder.
The German giants are aware of the fact that the rumours could allow the player’s representatives to create pressure on the club. As a result, they have made their stance clear that he is not for sale.
Bayern Munich believe the former Ajax prospect could be a key part of their team in the near future. And, they are in no mood of letting him leave the club. Meanwhile, Liverpool, who have been interested in the 20-year-old, for a while now will have to look for alternatives.
