Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Argentine international attacker Paulo Dybala at the end of the season.

A report from Goal claims that Paulo Dybala is on Manchester United’s radar as they look to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at the end of the season. The Red Devils can sign the 29-year-old World Cup winner for just €12 million.

The Red Devils parted ways with the Portuguese international midway through the season and have not been able to replace his goals so far. Manchester United signed Wout Weghorst on a loan deal. But the Dutchman has been largely underwhelming so far on the goalscoring front.

Meanwhile, Dybala has been in impressive form for AS Roma this season. The 29-year-old has 12 goals and eight assists to his name across all competitions. The Argentine international could prove to be the ideal acquisition for Manchester United as they look to replace a top-class forward like Ronaldo.

The Argentine international is more than just a striker. He can operate as an attacking midfielder, a centre forward, as well as a winger. The World Cup winner is at the peak of his career and has emerged on Manchester United’s radar. And the opportunity to join our top Premier League club is likely to be a tempting option for him.

Apparently, a clause in his contract would allow the player to leave for a fee of around €12 million at the end of the season. The reported asking price could prove to be a major bargain for a player of Dybala’s quality. And Manchester United will do everything in their power to sign him up.

The Red Devils are unlikely to be the only club looking to sign the player at the end of the season and they might have to face competition to sign the 29-year-old. Ideally, Roma will not want to lose a key player like Dybala in the summer. But they will be powerless to stop him from leaving if there is indeed a clause in his contract that allows him to leave for a nominal price of €12 million.

The report further states that Dybala can join an Italian club for a fee of around €20 million at the end of the season. The Argentine international has already proven himself in Italy. And the opportunity to showcase his qualities in England could prove to be an exciting option for him.
