Manchester United will not sell 25-year-old England international Marcus Rashford for less than £120 million.

According to Daily Star, Manchester United have set a price tag of £120 million on their star forward Marcus Rashford. The 25-year-old has been in red-hot form of late. And with just 16 months left on his contract, a lot of European clubs are keeping an eye on him.

Manchester United’s first priority is to extend his existing £200,000-a-week contract. They are willing to offer him £300,000-a-week to sign a new long-term contract with the club. But, they have not been able to strike a deal yet.

If they fail to convince the England international in the coming months, they might have to sell him in the summer. But, they won’t be willing to sell him for less than £120 million. Rashford has been on another level since returning from the FIFA World Cup 2022.

He has been scoring goals for fun and deciding games on his own. The 25-year-old scored a brace against Leicester City on Sunday to help the Red Devils win 3-0 at home. Rashford has found the back of the net in United’s last seven matches at Old Trafford.

In the ongoing season, he has 32 goal contributions in 36 matches. The 25-year-old has found the back of the net on 24 occasions. 14 of his goals in the ongoing campaign have come in the English top flight.

The Manchester United forward has been an integral part of Erik ten Hag’s team in the ongoing season. And, he is one of the reasons the Red Devils have managed to keep themselves alive in all four competitions. The Dutch manager is keen on extending his contract in the coming weeks.

But, with just 16 months left on his contract a lot of big clubs across Europe are keeping a tab on his situation. Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are interested in the 25-year-old. Los Blancos are searching for a forward who can eventually replace their marksman Karim Benzema. And, signing Rashford will surely help their cause.

Meanwhile, the Catalan giants are also keen on having him at Camp Nou. Xavi wants to add more firepower to his team in order to challenge for silverware. Barcelona will be keen on doing better in the Champions League next time around and adding the England international to their ranks can help them achieve that.

However, the clubs will have to break the bank in order to land the United forward. They will have to meet the asking price of £120 million to have any chance of signing Rashford in the summer. Meanwhile, it will also depend on his contract situation. And, they will have to battle it out with PSG who have been interested in the 25-year-old for a while now.
