Juventus are the latest club to enter the race for the signature of Spanish right-back Ivan Fresneda in the summer.

According to a report by Fichajes, Italian giants Juventus are interested in signing 18-year-old full-back Ivan Fresneda. The teenager has been sensational in the ongoing season for Real Valladolid. His performances have attracted a lot of attention from across Europe and he might make a big move ahead of next season.

The 18-year-old was a part of the Real Madrid youth academy from 2014 to 2018. Things didn’t really work out for him at Madrid and as a result, he decided to leave. He joined the Valladolid youth academy in 2020. Since joining them, he has moved up the ranks at some pace and has gone from strength to strength over the past few years.

The teenager moved into the Real Valladolid first team ahead of the ongoing season and has already proved himself in the Spanish top flight. He has been putting great shifts in the defence for the Valladolid-based club. Fresneda has played an important part in helping his team stay out of the relegation zone. And with 17 matches left in the league, he is expected to have a lot more game time under his belt.

In the ongoing season, he has featured in 12 matches and has accumulated a total of 834 minutes. While he might not have been involved in any of the goals directly but he has surely played his part in a lot of them so far.

His performances have caught the eyes of some of the biggest clubs in the world. And, Juventus are one such club that is interested in signing the Spanish full-back. Massimiliano Allegri is a big admirer of the 18-year-old. Allegri wants him in Turin ahead of next season.

Juventus have been struggling to find the perfect right back for their team for a while now. They have tried and tested quite a few players but haven’t tasted much success. The Turin-based club are looking for a right-back and they have identified Ivan Fresneda as a great option.

The Italian giants are not the only ones interested in his services. The likes of Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund, Newcastle United, and Arsenal also have their eyes on him.

Mikel Arteta has been keen on signing the 18-year-old for a while now. The Gunners even tried to sign him in the January transfer window. And, will once again push for him in the summer.

It is going to be an interesting transfer tussle for the signature of the Spain U19 star. One thing is certain, Real Valladolid will surely receive a huge paycheck for him and it might be their biggest ever.
