Manchester United could make a bid for 24-year-old World Cup finalist Randal Kolo Muani in the summer, as Erik ten Hag eyes a striker.

According to Bild via Sport Witness, Manchester United could reportedly bid for Randal Kolo Muani in the summer. The 24-year-old World Cup finalist recently changed agents, and he could angle for a move to a bigger club, with the Red Devils firmly in the race.

Eintracht Frankfurt hit the jackpot with the signing of Kolo Muani last summer. The 24-year-old World Cup finalist arrived on a free transfer from Nantes, and the German side could make a massive profit from a sale. For now, the Bundesliga side have not indicated they want to sell, but a big offer could pique their interest.

Frankfurt were alert to the situation in January, particularly after the 24-year-old World Cup finalist had a tremendous tournament in Qatar. While he remained at the Bundesliga side beyond the January window, a summer move could transpire with many clubs keen.

His agent publicly stated the forward would remain at the club until 2024, but Muani has changed representation since then. He is now with Moussa Sissoko’s team that also manages France teammate Ousmane Dembele. His new agents have plenty of contacts with top clubs, meaning a move may materialise.

Manchester United are one of the sides interested in the 24-year-old World Cup finalist. Erik ten Hag will urge the club to sign a top-rated centre-forward in the summer. There’s a vacant position in the squad since Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure.

They have names like Victor Osimhen on their list, but an alternative could move up their list due to competition for the Nigerian. Kolo Muani is of interest to the Red Devils, and they could lodge a big money move for the 24-year-old.

Frankfurt have reportedly placed a €100 million price tag on the French forward. The asking price filters interested parties, as only a handful of clubs, can afford that sum.

Others like Real Madrid keep tabs on Kolo Muani’s situation, but Frankfurt will not budge with their valuations. The French forward has a contract until 2027, meaning the German side is not in a rush to sell.

Manchester United, possibly boosted by the arrival of new, wealthy owners, could make a statement signing. The Frankfurt star could become a big arrival at Old Trafford.
