According to a report by Fichajes, Arsenal are interested in signing Manchester United target Denzel Dumfries in the summer. Inter Milan are in a financial crisis and are willing to offload the Dutch full-back in order to raise funds.
The Italian team need to raise around €60 million in order to boost their finances. And, selling Dumfries can surely help their cause. The 26-year-old full-back has been a great asset for Inter Milan and letting him leave can bring in a lot of cash.
Denzel Dumfries joined Inter Milan back in the summer of 2021 from PSV Eindhoven. Ever since his arrival at the club, he has been sensational for them. His contract at the club ends in 2025. With a few years still left in his contract, offloading him next season will allow Inter to rake in a hefty amount.

Manchester United and Arsenal are both interested in landing the Netherlands international. Mikel Arteta is looking to build a team that can challenge for every possible silverware. He wants to strengthen the right-back position and believes Dumfries could solve his issues.
He prefers playing as a wing-back but has it in him to feature as a full-back. His arrival at Arsenal will allow them to be a bit more attacking from the right-hand side. Bukayo Saka who prefers cutting inside from the right will love to see a full-back make overlapping runs.
But, it won’t be easy to get his signature because rivals Manchester United are also keen on signing the Dutch footballer. Erik ten Hag has had issues at the right back position. The United boss is not satisfied with the performances of players like Aaron Wan-Bissaka. As a result, he is looking to land Dumfries at Old Trafford in the summer. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in this transfer tussle between two Premier League giants.
