It will be a straightforward loan move that will see the teenager join the Championship team as they look to return to the Premier League. Norwich City are currently sixth in England’s second tier, and young Marquinhos can surely help their cause.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have given the Brazilian teenager green light to travel to East Anglia for his medical. If everything goes according to plan, the deal will go through within the next 24 hours.
Marquinhos joined the Gunners last summer from Sao Paulo for £3.5 million. But, lack of game time has frustrated the Brazilian forward. The 19-year-old has featured in just six matches across all competitions and has two goal contributions. The Arsenal winger has also featured for the Under-21s on five occasions. But Arteta wants the teenager to gain experience at the senior level.

Wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli have been in great form, with Leandro Trossard’s arrival in January pushing young Marquinhos further down the pecking order. The north London club recently completed the signing of Leandro Trossard from Brighton & Hove Albion for £26 million.
As per reports, Arsenal have been eager to send Marquinhos out on loan this month. But they wanted to secure a new forward before letting the youngster leave. A move to Carrow Road will help the teenager get some much-needed exposure. And he might find himself in the mix next season.
