Weston McKennie will likely leave Juventus before the end of this month. The 24-year-old midfielder seeks a new challenge elsewhere. He is not necessarily considered a key player in Massimiliano Allegri’s plans, but he has played plenty of games this season.
Owing to the ongoing problems at Juventus, many players may depart. Alternatively, the club could also look at cashing on certain players to obtain the maximum value. McKennie could become one of the departures.
Leeds United have been interested in a move, with Jesse Marsch keen to bring his compatriot to Elland Road. After talks with Juventus in the last weeks, they have made an offer worth €28 million to bring the versatile American midfielder to the Premier League.

While Juventus are open to selling, the Serie A giants may want more money. Fabrizio Romano suggests the Serie A heavyweights are asking around €35 million to close the deal as talks between the two clubs continue.
Leeds United are confident of securing the services of the USMNT international despite some late interest from Arsenal. The Gunners are in the market but may go in a different direction, considering McKennie may not suit their overall profile.
For now, Leeds and Juventus remain locked in talks and could find an agreement sooner rather than later. The Whites may want to pay less than €35 million for the versatile American midfielder. And the two sides could likely come to a middle ground and seal the deal this week.
