Tottenham winger Lucas Moura has been linked with a move away from the club in recent weeks, with Spurs offering him to Everton.

Lucas Moura will be a free agent in the summer, and Tottenham are hoping to sell him for a reasonable price this month. According to a report from Daily Mail, Tottenham have offered the 30-year-old to Everton. And it remains to be seen whether the Toffees are prepared to sign him this month.

Lucas Moura has a contract with Tottenham until June, and he could be signed for a bargain this month. The 30-year-old is admittedly prepared to leave the north Londoners as a free agent. Everton could certainly use attacking reinforcements, and Moura could be a useful player for them.

Frank Lampard’s side are fighting for survival in the Premier League, and they could certainly use some quality additions in January. Moura has the experience and quality to make a big difference in the final third. And it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

The 30-year-old has been a key player for Tottenham over the years. And he helped them challenge for the Premier League title and reach the UEFA Champions League final under Mauricio Pochettino. The Brazilian has fallen down the pecking order this season and needs to leave Spurs in order to play regularly.

The 30-year-old is at the peak of his career right now and cannot afford to sit on the bench every week. Moving away from Tottenham would be the ideal next step in his career. And it remains to be seen whether Everton are prepared to provide him with an exit route.

The Brazilian winger is versatile enough to play as a central attacking midfielder, a winger or a centre forward. His versatility will be an added bonus for Everton if they manage to secure his services.

Summer signing Neal Maupay has been a major disappointment so far, and Lampard will need to bring in quality attacking players in order to get his side out of trouble. The likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Anthony Gordon have not been at their best either.

Lucas Moura’s arrival will certainly lift the spirits around Everton. Furthermore, the Brazilian will be determined to prove his worth after being overlooked at Tottenham, and his hunger to succeed will be an added bonus for the Merseyside outfit.
