Manchester United have made advances for Josip Juranovic and wishes to sign the Croatian, but after seeking a solution for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

According to Tutto Mercato Web, Manchester United continue to chase Josip Juranovic and want a deal done this month. The player also remains interested in a move after reportedly stalling talks with other suitors in favour of the Red Devils.

Josip Juranovic came to the fore during Croatian’s tremendous run at the World Cup. The right-back helped his nation reach the semi-finals and was one of Qatar’s most impressive stars. His energetic displays have naturally attracted the interest of top sides, including Manchester United.

Before the January window opened, Chelsea were keen to sign the defender. The Blues wanted a notable solution to their right-back crisis after Reece James’ injury. Yet, they have not signed anyone in the position and decided to focus on bringing in a centre-back and a few attackers.

Manchester United are among a host of clubs to show an interest in the right-back and are ready to set up the chase. Erik ten Hag remains in the market for a promising right-back to improve his current options. Diogo Dalot remains the Dutchman’s firm choice for the position, but the future of Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a significant doubt.

Manchester United are willing to sign a new player, in this case, Juranovic if they can find a solution for Wan-Bissaka. West Ham United recently opened talks for the right-back, but there is more substantial interest from former side Crystal Palace.

Palace remains optimistic about re-signing Wan-Bissaka, but the matter is a complex case. Manchester United may want to recoup a significant fee for the full-back. It may also resonate with suitors to think the player is not worth the money, as he has had mediocre performances at Old Trafford since his arrival.

While there is confidence about finding a solution, which, once done, could pave the way for Juranovic to arrive at Old Trafford. Manchester United have reportedly held talks with Celtic for the right-back.

The report suggests, Juranovic has stalled on all other talks with different suitors, namely Juventus and Monza, to concentrate on the Manchester United move. For now, there’s nothing agreed between the two clubs, although it could be a matter of time before it does transpire.
