Crystal Palace and Everton are reportedly interested in signing former Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom.

According to a report from Daily Mail, Chuba Akpom is on the radar of a few Premier League clubs. Everton and Crystal Palace want to secure the services of the former Arsenal striker before the January transfer window closes.

Chuba Akpom has been in impressive form this season, scoring 13 goals in 19 Championship games for Middlesbrough thus far. Crystal Palace and Everton could use attacking reinforcements, and the 27-year-old could prove to be a quality acquisition. The player was unable to make his mark in the Premier League with Arsenal and will be determined to prove himself at the highest level.

Everton have had a disappointing season so far, and they have struggled since the departure of Brazilian forward Richarlison. Frank Lampard needs to bring in a quality alternative, and it will be interesting to see if he decides to sign the 27-year-old this month. The Toffees have also shown interest in other strikers, including Randal Kolo Muani.

On the other hand, Crystal Palace have been reliant on Odsonne Edouard for goals this season, and Patrick Vieira needs to add more quality and depth to his side. The 27-year-old striker could be a useful addition, but he is not the only striker on Palace’s radar. The Eagles have also been linked with Terem Moffi.

The 27-year-old is at the peak of his career right now, and the move to the Premier League could be ideal for him. The opportunity to join Everton or Crystal Palace could be a tempting proposition for him, and he would be able to showcase his qualities at a higher level.

It remains to be seen whether Crystal Palace or Everton are prepared to come forward with a concrete offer for the 27-year-old striker in the coming weeks. But Southampton are also interested in the former Arsenal striker.

Middlesbrough are currently fighting for promotion to the Premier League and will not want to lose a key player midway through the season. So Crystal Palace, Everton, and Southampton will probably have to come forward with a substantial offer in order to tempt the Championship outfit.
