Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Bukayo Saka and could offer Dusan Vlahovic to Arsenal in exchange.

According to Tutto Juve, Massimiliano Allegi ‘dreams’ of signing Bukayo Saka from Arsenal and could offer Dusan Vlahovic in exchange to sweeten the deal. Mikel Arteta is unlikely to sanction a sale for the 21-year-old England international anytime soon, although they hold an interest in the Serbian.

The injury to Gabriel Jesus has brought about all sorts of rumours and links to the fore about Arsenal looking to sign a new striker. The Brazilian’s absence is expected to impact the Gunners and their quest to win the Premier League, but Mikel Arteta is not considering a replacement.

Dusan Vlahovic was one of the first to see his name linked with a move to Arsenal a few weeks ago. The connection comes after the Gunners chased the Serbian forward last January before he joined Juventus. The pursuit was well publicised following the antics of the striker’s agent, who reportedly dodged calls from the north Londoners.

Vlahovic has settled in Turin, but multiple reports suggested he could look for another move. Some insisted he was open to joining the Gunners if an approach was made in January. However, with Eddie Nketiah scoring in the two games without Jesus, Arteta looks less likely to pursue a new forward in January seriously.

Vlahovic has interest from multiple Premier League sides, but in recent weeks the stories regarding the Serbian have gone cold. Some reports have helped the name resurface, and Arsenal are in the mix. The only difference is that Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri reportedly wants Bukayo Saka at the club and could offer the Serbian in exchange,

For starters, Arsenal or Arteta are unlikely to entertain offers for the England international. Saka is considered key to the project and has been the Gunners’ star performer in a title-chasing season. The report insists Juventus could approach in the summer and offer Vlahovic in exchange, which may seem improbable from Arteta’s point of view.

Arsenal may be interested in Vlahovic but won’t go for the striker at Saka’s expense. Moreover, they are working hard in the background to tie the 21-year-old to a long-term deal and remain optimistic about their chances.

Hence, these stories can safely be shrugged off as rumours, and there is no chance Arsenal would sanction a sale for Saka. Moreover, even if the England international wanted to move out of the team, he is unlikely to join a team abroad at this career stage.

If they offer Vlahovic + £100m, I would say: no way, Old Lady.
